Name: Jackson Whittemore
Door: Door Pass!

Canon: Teen Wolf
Canon Point: 6x17 "Werewolves of London" after being attacked by the two hunters, before reuniting with Ethan

Age: 19
Appearance:
title or descriptiontitle or description

History: HERE!
Personality:

Jackson Whittemore is arrogant to the point of overconfidence and cockiness. Even in the face of a credible threat, even while being tortured, and kidnapped, he maintains a holier than thou attitude. He's better than you and he knows it. Jackson doesn't suffer fools, or morons, or, honestly, most people. He's quick to boast and he's proud of his accomplishments. He likes to hear himself talk. While being tortured by a hunter, he draws out the revelation that he is still part kanima, preferring to describe in metaphorical detail what he's about to do, and how he's going to escape. He even drops that he used to drive sports cars and asks if the hunter drives a Porsche.

He's shocked if you haven't heard of him and he'll belittle you in an instant. He can be very condescending and downright rude without a second thought. He knows more than you. You're wrong. And even if you aren't wrong he barely cares, anyway. He believes he is the most interesting person in the room, and the most desired. This can come off as vain, but in truth, he takes care of himself, and shouldn't everybody? He truly believes he's "everybody's type" and he said as much to his best friend, Danny. He is also fickle and cold and able to turn on a dime if need be. He dumps Lydia Martin in seconds, without a care and he rubs her face in it when he deadpans a joke.

Jackson is a very determined person to the point of getting what he wants and he is ruthless at achieving it. He blackmailed Scott McCall and practically forced Derek Hale to give him the bite so he can be a werewolf. He is constantly bettering himself, trying to be the best and when he knows he might not be he tries ten times harder. He can be very impatient when he wants something and doesn't get it. In short, if Jackson wants it, he will get it. He has no shame in throwing money at the problem or outright threatening somebody. When he was younger he stemmed from deep seeded anger-issues but over the years it seems he's kept those in check, preferring a cocky sarcasm to outright malicious rage.

A lot about Jackson Whittemore is negative, but there is one positive trait he exudes.

He cares and he feels even if he doesn't show that on the outside. He's developed real bonds with Allison Argent, Danny Maehlani, and in the sixth season he's shown to be in a committed, adult relationship with Ethan Steiner, a werewolf. It can be argued he cared for Lydia as well, and went so far as to watch the same damn movie (The Notebook) multiple times because that's what she wants. And though he may be selfish and narcissistic at times, he does make the effort when he develops a connection with someone. And in caring for them he becomes loyal. He can also do sweet things for them. Before being attacked by hunters, Jackson had planned on celebrating his anniversary with his boyfriend and they had tickets to the opera. (Though, he claims he did not forget this fact and later slips up that he may have forgotten.)

Even when he doesn't want it known, Jackson cares to the point of overachieving. Deep down, Jackson struggles with insecurity and identity. This stems from being adopted and not remembering his real parents who were killed mysteriously. His mother was killed while pregnant with him, but he survives. He admits in a moment of honesty that a lot of his overachieving is about wanting to make his biological parents proud.

Powers and Abilities:

Jackson is a hybrid. Part Kanima and part Werewolf Initially, he sought out Derek Hale to give him the bite. After shirking his responsibilities for being a part of a pack, he started suffering from violent, oozing symptoms. Derek assumed Jackson's body was rejecting the bite. In reality, Jackson's inner self, his lack of identity and general shitty demeanor turned him into a Kanima, a homicidal Reptilian creature.

Jackson describes his abilities as those of a tiptronic transmission of a car: seamlessly moving from manual to automatic. In the sixth season, it's shown that Jackson has kept a few kanima qualities while also being a werewolf.

As a Kanima...
Sharp nails drip a paralytic substance. If scratched, the subject is paralyzed and rendered temporarily immobile. If Jackson concentrates, his eyes can shift to that of a vertically aligned reptile's. These eyes are yellow. Lastly, he has the ability to reveal and retract a tail he has complete control over. He used it to strangle and subdue a guard. He also joked that it was the reason he couldn't drive sports cars anymore, as he needed the room beneath - just in case.

In the second season, it's shown that a kanima also has a final form. We only get a glimpse of this (there are wings involved), but considering he was defeated and returned to his old self, one can assume there is no way to tap back into such a primal form of creature.

As a Werewolf,
Jackson has enhanced speed, strength, and agility. Werewolves are incredibly acrobatic. Coupling that with his athleticism before the bite, he is a formidable foe. Werewolves can run on all fours to move even faster. They can hear conversations going on across a room, including a crowded cafeteria and busy night club. Though, they need to concentrate. Because of this, they can hear both sides to a phone conversation. Werewolves also have an incredible sense of smell, and with practice they can track someone by their scent. They can jump two stories - and survive falls from two stories and higher. Derek Hale survived one such fall, though he did need to be nursed back to health. Wolves can howl and alert nearby werewolves to where they are. They can also absorb a living being's pain. *Jackson has never been taught this, nor has he been shown in canon he knows how to perform this Werewolves can also embed their claws into the base of the neck to either draw memories out of someone, or transfer their own.

If a werewolf kills an Alpha wolf, they become an Alpha wolf.

After shifting, werewolves' nails elongate, becoming sharper. Extra hair grows around their sideburns and chin. Their eyes are the color denoted by Beta (yellow), Alpha (red) or Beta who's taken someone's life (blue). Jackson's eyes are blue because he took innocent lives in his kanima form.

Supernatural abilities aside, Jackson has the uncanny ability to lock onto a person's insecurity and wring everything he can out of it, whether it be from blackmail or coercion. This makes him great at manipulation. Werewolf or not, he's a gifted lacrosse player and bowler. He also has a very high pain tolerance.

And, if you ask him, his sense of style is an ability, as well as his restraint at not punching anyone at any time in the face. You could say he has impeccable restraint, because some people deserve to be punched.

When talking about werewolves and their abilities, their weaknesses must also be mentioned. These, I'll bullet point.

✘ wolғѕвane - werewolves can be weakened and killed when poisoned with wolfsbane. there are two types, yellow and purple. it's been revealed that when poisoned with purple wolfsbane Jackson recovers faster because he is part kanima. yellow would still prove fatal
✘ leтнarιa vυlpιna - any kind of shapeshifter can be weakened for days by the 'wolf lichen'
✘ elecтrιcιтy - often times werewolves are captured and attached to an electrified fence or prodded. electricity can weaken a werewolf and higher voltage can kill them.
✘ тнe ғυll мoon - werewolves are slaves to the lunar cycle. during a full moon a newer werewolf loses control and is capable of attacking anything and everything, but restraint can be taught. derek hale tells the pack that he helped Jackson with the full moon before he moved to London. that said, even the most trained werewolf can lose control if emotionally out of whack.
✘ мoυnтaιn aѕн - usually used by druids, mountain ash can be used to trap any shapeshifter where they are, if the shapeshifter is led into a circle and the circle is closed. it can also be used as a barrier as well.
✘ eмoтιonѕ - finally, a werewolf can lose control easily if they lose control of their emotions. this could trigger an accidental shift, fangs protruding, claws, etc. emotions are a werewolves greatest asset, but also, their weakness

[ Something is wrong.

The purple wolfsbane should be working its way through his system. If he opened his eyes, he'd probably see wisps of purple smoke escape his mouth with every breath. He should be recovering but his head can't latch onto one single thought. Instead, images of Ethan appear. Disappointing his boyfriend because, yes, he had forgotten their anniversary, ran late, and then had been attacked outside their apartment. More primal urges. What he'll do to the people who took him.

His thoughts of revenge cloud over as he loses consciousness again.

When he comes to, he is more lucid.

His thoughts come barreling down. Ethan. That hunter bitch. He yells at the empty room assuming that this is a hostage scenario. He's not being restrained, and he would break those restraints now, anyway. These people suck at taking hostages. He's up immediately, eyes glowing blue as he approaches the two doors.

Go Left. Go Right.

What kind of freak show is this. Some twisted Saw-inspired house of horrors saved for werewolves of the LGBTQ community? Because, this is a freaking hate crime. He doesn't care which door he chooses or what waits on the other side, he chooses one ready for whomever or whatever is on the other side. Wolfsbane, electricity, Scott McCall if this is about him. (Somehow, it's always about him. ...When it's not all about Jackson which is - also all the time.) So, the bad comes from McCall. Everything else, that's Jackson's. He even hopes he'll find Ethan and they can escape together and kick everyone's asses.

The medical team stops him in his tracks. ]
What the --

[ He's restrained almost immediately. He's still not at full power and there are too many. He's stripped which is not cool and hands are touching places they shouldn't be. He grabs the wrist of one of the doctors who nears where his tail would be. They try to heal him, but, all they have to do is wash the blood from the wound on his forehead. By the time he's bathed, what the fuck, he's fully healed and pissed. He wants his shit back. What do they mean, they have to be processed. He's in a hospital gown, seriously not cool.

Apparently, the device he's given has answers, more than just 'testing the deceit gene' and that is a flawed hypothesis given by these overly eager excuses for doctors. None of this is up to code, or freakin' legal. None of it is what he expected, either. If it's a kidnapping or some kind of house of torture, it's twisted and they just let him go.

What. The. Fuck. ]

ᴄᴏᴍᴍᴜɴɪᴄᴀᴛᴇs

[ He finds his clothing and makes quick work of the hospital gown, throwing it into the garbage.

He wants to blow off orientation, but he still has one unaccounted for boyfriend. Something tells him Ethan has nothing to do with this and he's single again. Is that what you are if you end up in an entirely different place?

Eyeing the device, he considers what to do with it. He's not one to air his laundry so he's not about to whine for Ethan over it, or whine at all. Considering the other people on it, he knows he's not alone in how fucked everything is. He chooses his last name as his handle and logs in. ]

Great, it's - video. [ Shit. Whatever. He probably looks as disheveled as every other sap here. (In truth he doesn't, other than his hair which is only a little mussed up, he's still dressed impeccably in his blue suit, the shirt only a little rumpled from his scuffle.) ] Chime in if you're done with this place. I was done when they made me travel across town in a freakin' hospital gown. [ Not to mention the stripping, cleaning and confiscating. ] I'm missing something important for this parade of perverted morons. Being a dom or a sub is supposed to be a choice two people agree on. Kink is about trust, not whatever the hell this shit is.

And, anybody who got a glimpse of this ass, you're welcome. It's not happening again. [ Not like that. ] Anyone else actually going to "orientation?"
